Introverts, Extroverts and Compassion Fatigue
It's said that many veterinary professionals and other animal workers are introverts. Being an introvert or extrovert only means where you get your energy from, internally (introverts) or externally (extroverts). So many of us use our personality type against ourselves. It's just who you are. Our workplaces are filled with both introverts and extroverts and we need to understand ourselves and each other and see how this relates to compassion fatigue.
